This position is located in Phoenix, Arizona with the G6. This is a National Guard Dual Status Technician position requiring military membership. The purpose of the position is to serve as a systems administrator on one or more of the systems maintained/administered throughout the state. The incumbent is responsible for installing and testing the system security configuration and monitoring, operating, troubleshooting and maintaining server hardware and software.

Warrant Officer: WO1/W1 - CW2/W2
Warrant Officer Candidate in the grades of E1-E7
Compatible Military Assignments:
Enlisted: Possess 25 Series and/or 94 Series
Warrant Officer: Possess 255 Series and/or 948 Series
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 36 months of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. In addition to the OPM IORs (Alternative A) specialized experience examples, specialized experience includes experience, education, or training that approaches techniques and requirements appropriate to an assigned computer applications area or computer specialty area in an organization. Experience planning the sequence of actions necessary to accomplish the assignment where this entailed coordination with others outside the organizational unit and development of project controls. Experience that required adaptations of guidelines or precedents to meet the needs of the assignment. Experience preparing documentation on cost/benefit studies where is involved summarizing the material and organizing it in a logical fashion.

2. Knowledge to resolve inquiries and problems concerning access, use, and availability of datacenter technologies.
3. Ability to maintain liaison with counterparts at other commands/installations for troubleshooting assistance and researching available products and state-of-the-art technologies and advancements.
4. Knowledge to install, configure, and maintain servers and server resources in support of business processing requirements and ensures that servers are tested for stability.
5. Knowledge to provide technical assistance to current and potential users to minimize disruptions of computer operations.
