This position is located at the US Army INSCOM, Assistant Chief of Staff, G4 at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
Serve as a Division Chief for complex projects which are of prime importance to the Army mission.
Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the work efforts of personnel engaged in the performance of assigned missions / related functions of the division.
Direct the accomplishment of high visibility programs.
Formulate policies for general operation of the office, insures execution of orders and instructions.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Two year trial period may be required.
In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel may be required 10% or less of the time.

Specialized experience is defined as managing an integrated logistics support program for intelligence systems, developing logistics plans and policies to support operational requirements, AND providing technical guidance and oversight to other senior logistics personnel or project teams. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the federal service (GG/GS-14).
